Lash extension training
____
Hello, lash fairies/colleagues ;)
I was getting more and more questions about lash trainer training, and after conducting my first trainer course, I finally felt ready to lead them without hesitation. More precisely, the first trained instructor motivated me, saying that I deliver the course with exceptional dedication.
Many might wonder: why is this even needed? I once asked myself the same question (when I personally had to go through the complex paperwork and
legalization issue).
I want to share more about this and at the same time inspire others or motivate them to work better in order to reach teacher/trainer status.
I often hear lash artists say the same thing: "Oh, you know, a client asked so I taught her how to do it." Let's start with
Just showing someone how to work or giving a few pointers is NOT THE SAME as teaching a full course, truly educating them, and sending them off into the beauty market with peace of mind.
Why? Because you lack the fundamentals (such as pedagogy) on how to properly teach a student to work ACCORDING to all the rules, rather than just the way you personally work. I understand that easier money is tempting, BUT you must realize and understand the level of your responsibility toward students and their future clients. My colleagues and I often discuss this and agree that it's better to take on more clients that day and earn the money you would make by just “showing” how lash extensions are done.
Thanks to such "demonstrators," lash extensions training loses its quality and completely destabilizes the market, because prospective students naturally choose the cheapest option.
What do I mean by that? Please don't get me wrong and take no offense, those who do this just to "show" the student instead of actually teaching them.
I want to offer a truly solid trainer course so that you can teach professionally and train students legally, rather than handing out drawn certificates left and right and blushing in front of students when asked an uncomfortable question you don't know the answer to.
Naturally, the question arises: how much does such training cost? It is not cheap, and of course, it's easy to see why. Personally, I do not teach cheap courses and do not devalue the market; instead, I produce highly skilled and successful artists, and I intend to do the exact same with future trainers.
I take the trainer course very responsibly and will not train trainers for quantity, but for quality. That is why I teach gifted, responsible artists. What does it include? And how long does it take? The course is designed for working artists with at least 4+ years of experience. Part of the course program:
Duration: 2 days;
A lash exam is taken;
Mentorship fundamentals;
Documentation;
Slides and all visual materials;
International accreditation;
Legalization of activities;
Marketing fundamentals;
Diplomas;
Creating video and reels content;
All lash extension techniques and lash lift (if you already work with lash lifts).
And even more inside the course.
